My artistic journey and inspiration

My artistic journey is deeply rooted in a desire to explore the boundless possibilities of colour, texture, and emotion. I'm primarily inspired by the natural beauty of the landscapes around Barrie, Ontario, and the infinite ways I can interpret them through large-scale abstract multimedia and rich oil and acrylic paints. The process of transforming a blank canvas into a vibrant expression of feeling and form is what truly drives me.

The joy of creating and connecting

There's nothing more rewarding than seeing the spark of creativity ignite in others. Whether it's guiding a senior as they discover a new talent, or witnessing a team come together over a shared artistic experience, these moments are incredibly fulfilling. Of course, the solitude and intense focus of creating a new large-scale painting also bring immense joy. It's a privilege to share my passion, both through my art and through helping others find their own creative voice.
